Prince George's County was Founded in 1696 and has grown to a population approaching 1 million. The county is adjacent to Washington, D.C. and Virginia and is within a short drive of Baltimore and Annapolis.

Prince George's County is very diverse in its residents, in its landscapes, and in the lifestyle choice available. From the rolling farm communities of old traditional to the traditional neighborhood communities featuring larger, more upscale properties, Prince George's County offers a variety of urban, suburban, and rural housing choices within the county. The construction of the new National Harbor in the Woodrow Wilson Bridge area will provide additional residential, commercial, and retail space.

FedEx Field, located in Prince Georges County, is the home of the Washington Redskins. The Maryland Terps, who always draw a crowd, are a Prince Georges County favorite. The Bowie Baysox, our class AA minor league baseball team, play their home games at the Prince Georges Stadium in Bowie. The Prince Georges County Equestrian Center located in Upper Marlboro, is the home of the annual county fair and many other events throughout the year. There are several championship golf courses available and many parks and recreation centers.
